Hello everyone.
Over the past weeks, we’ve gone through every single one of your comments, complaints, and suggestions about Shadow Mansion with great care. From “can’t finish the game” issues to optimization, from control feel to the user interface, we laid every major problem raised by the community on the table and dissected it in depth.
And today, at last…
🔧 A brand‑new core framework
🌙 Menus reworked from top to bottom
🎮 Far smoother controls
🏃 Polished, more fluid gameplay
⚡ Noticeably improved performance
…and in every sense,a seamless Shadow Mansion experience delivered by a massive update we’re proud to unveil.
Below you’ll find the biggest steps we’ve taken, both on the technical side and for the player experience:
🧩 🔄 Integration of Advanced Systems
The game’s backbone has been rebuilt, quite literally, from the ground up. While preserving Shadow Mansion’s core gameplay mechanics, we carefully wove professional‑grade systems into every vein of the game.
🖥️ Brand‑New Interface & Menu System
Seamless, professional visual theme
Dynamic UI compatible with both PC and Steam Deck
Modernized main menu
Pause menu redesigned from scratch
Full access to all settings from within the game
Eye‑friendly, clean and snappy menu animations
Shadow Mansion no longer feels like a “trial build”; it now carries the weight and presence of a fully polished, carefully crafted professional title.
🎮 Enhanced Controls & Input System
We completely overhauled one of the community’s most frequent pain points: “mouse sensitivity” and the overall feel of the controls:
✔ Full keybinding support directly in‑game
✔ Automatic switching between gamepad / keyboard icons
✔ Controller fully compatible with all menus
✔ Properly scaled camera turn speed
✔ Ability to disable motion blur and head bob
The era of “clunky mouse controls” in Shadow Mansion is over. 🐭✨
