- The number of typewriter cartridges create has tripled. We wanted to make sure that while players were exploring the underground in search of objectives, they were also prioritizing the search for cartridges, but we realized that when you're being chased by monsters, it's not always worth the risk to search for cartridges once the objective in the current area has been completed. We believe this is because we have intentionally hidden information about how many cartridges there are in total in the game, and what the algorithm is for distributing them throughout the game. We're not sure what the right number of cartridges is for optimal balance, but we've decided to drastically increase the number to address the all-too-frequent frustrations we encountered early on. Loading a saved game will also regenerate the number of cartridges that should be added.
