As we get ready to leave Early Access, we wanted to share the current roadmap with you. Thank you for playing Konfronto with us in Early Access, and thank you for all your feedback. You’ve helped the team shape Konfronto into a game worthy of the hundreds of hours some of you have put in already.
Release 0.7 - Coming very, very soon
“I hav’nae got the GPU power, cap’n”
This one is mostly about performance fixes (sorry for cooking your GPU), but it also includes Steam Authentication integration, an important step in maintaining the integrity of the competitive experience. There are quite a few bug fixes, and importantly some balance changes. We will detail the balance changes in the patch notes, and they can also be found on our Discord.
Release 0.8 - October
“Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for new content”
New Cargo and Crew! The Sisters of Salvage faction joins the fight.
Improved analytics tools (you won’t see these, but you’ll feel the impact of these in future balance updates).
Leaderboard revision (more details soon)
Database wipe! The wipe is everything. Your rank, battle records, XP, leaderboard presence, everything. We said we were going to do this sooner, but have had to move this to the October update. This will fix some important things, and will be the last time we ever do this.
Release 1.0 - November
“One small step for man, one giant leap for inventory management”
November! This is it. And it’s a biggie. We’ll add to the game a brand new single player campaign that plays out quite differently to the current Warp Mode experience. We’ll talk about it more closer to the time.
Release 1.1 - December
No snappy theme for this one, and no new content. We just want to let you know that we’re going to be spending that time polishing, bug fixing, and giving us some space to respond to any feedback you might have on the new single player experience.
