Hello, Soul Seekers! 👋
Today, we'd like to officially announce that the Into The Fire Open Playtests have come to an end.
Before anything else, we'd like to thank every single one of you who joined us throughout this journey. Whether you played for a few minutes or dozens of hours, submitted bug reports, shared feedback, posted screenshots, streamed the game, or simply followed our progress, your support has been invaluable.
Over the course of the playtests, 12,000 players stepped into the volcanic chaos of Into The Fire. Seeing so many of you explore the island, rescue survivors, battle the elements, and share your experiences with us has been nothing short of incredible.
From everyone at Starward Industries, thank you. ♥️
A Huge Thank You ❤️🔥
The primary goal of these playtests was to gather feedback, validate our ideas, and better understand how players interact with the world of Into The Fire.
Thanks to your participation, we've collected an enormous amount of gameplay data, bug reports, suggestions, and discussions that will directly influence the future development of the game.
That's literally us right now, implementing your feedback to the game 👍
Many of the improvements introduced throughout the playtests came directly from your feedback, and the lessons we've learned over the past few weeks will continue to shape Into The Fire moving forward.
What Did Soul Seekers Achieve?
Over the course of the Open Playtests, you didn't just survive the volcanic chaos, you left your mark on the island.
Here's what our community achieved together:
20,000 Successful Runs🔥 Thousands of expeditions ended in success, with survivors rescued and valuable resources brought back to camp.
12,000 Failed Runs💀 Not every mission ended happily. The volcano claimed its share of brave Soul Seekers along the way.
192,000 Fire Chunks Extinguished🚒 The flames never stopped spreading, but neither did your determination to fight them.
230,000 Fire Spirits Banished👻 The island's supernatural threats faced relentless resistance from the community.
689,000 Props Destroyed💥 Sometimes destruction is part of the job. Doors, obstacles, debris, and plenty of unfortunate objects stood in your way.
3,092 Items Crafted🔨 From tools to supplies, crafting played a crucial role in keeping expeditions alive.
9,200 Survivors Rescued🧑🚒 Every rescued life helped strengthen the future of the camp.
18,000 Structures Built🏕️ Soul Seekers transformed the HUB from a simple shelter into a thriving refuge.
11,000 Pats for the Dog🐶 Some statistics are more important than others.
