We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played the Squirreled Away demo! Your feedback and support have been invaluable in helping us refine and improve the game for the full release. In this blog, we’ll go over some takeaways from your feedback, what’s next for the full release, and how we’re making Squirreled Away even better. Let’s jump in!
Highlighted feedback from you!
We love hearing from you! Your feedback, suggestions, and even the smallest observations help shape Squirreled Away into the best game it can be. Thank you for playing and sharing your thoughts. Please keep them coming!
We’ve loved seeing your excitement around building and decorating your own treehouse with adorable items! However, we know some players have found the building system tricky, especially with mouse and keyboard. We're looking to refine the controls and add fun new blocks to make designing your dream home easier and more enjoyable. And don’t worry, the demo only scratched the surface! The full game will have many more decorations to help you make your treehouse truly your own.
Beyond that, we’re hard at work polishing the game, squashing bugs, and improving the overall experience.
During the demo, we even rolled out an update based on your feedback, adding inverted controls, ensuring strawberries respawn, introducing new building blocks, and fixing some pesky bugs.
If you enjoyed the demo and have more feedback, we’d love to hear from you! And if you have a moment, leaving a review would mean the world to us. It really helps us out.
What’s Next for Squirreled Away?
We are currently working on the full release of the game, which shouldn’t be too far off now and we are truly excited to share it with all of you! We’ve taken all your feedback to heart and are hard at work making the full game even better. With the release you will have access to explore the whole park, more fun quests and challenges and a lot more crafting tools and building blocks. And the big one, you will be able to play online with other squirrel friends!
Closing Thoughts
From all of us at Far Seas, thank you for being part of this adventure. Your excitement and engagement mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to bring you the full experience soon. Stay tuned for more updates!
