Unfortunately, I have made the difficult decision to cease development of The Betweenlands. I greatly enjoyed working on this game, and I wish I could have seen it through to the end, as I still had so much to share through it. However, my personal circumstances made it unfeasible to continue, and I had to accept that it's time to move on.
I have just released a small patch for the demo, but there are no content changes. Unity has told all developers to re-release applications due to a vulnerability discovered, so the update only fixes this issue. Expect to see lots of other games doing this. I will most likely not be updating the demo any further nor releasing a full version.
While I may be done with The Betweenlands, I am certainly not done developing games, and I am actively working on a new project that I will have more news on in the near future. It's very very different from The Betweenlands, but I'm super excited about it and I hope you'll like it.
