We’re excited to share that we’re targeting a fall 2026 launch for Blighted! We’re approaching the end of a major internal milestone, and since our last post we’ve expanded the game with new level content and gameplay systems, new narrative moments, and major art upgrades. In the coming weeks, the entire team will playtest the latest build from start to finish.
Here’s a small glimpse at some of the latest content in the game:
The player interacts with the Shaman at Watcher’s Peak
A battle with a Pickaxe enemy, somewhere in the Giant Mines (watch out for those carts!)
A strange statue looms over a pit in a secret room
We’re also thrilled to share that Blighted will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 alongside Steam! It was featured today in Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase – you can watch the segment here: View game page
Thank you for your continued support, it genuinely means a lot to our team. If you haven’t already, be sure to wishlist Blighted and follow the page for more updates.
Cheers,
- Drinkbox Team
