Bonjouuuur~ ☀️
The days are getting shorter, the sun is slowly putting itself to rest… We hope you all had a wonderful summer! Here are the latest The Witch’s Bakery updates!
It’s already been 1 year since the Kickstarter was launched, and we never expected to receive so much love and support.
A huge thank you for being here with us every day, and for the affection you show towards our characters, our art, and our universe. Without you, The Witch’s Bakery wouldn’t exist. We’re working hard to bring you the very best game possible. We’ll keep spreading magic all around us, and with you. Thank you so much again for being part of this adventure! 💕
Heart Dive mechanic update 💕
We’ve reworked an important mechanic in the game. In the bakery, you’ll encounter regrets that accompany customers. Regrets are spectral creatures of many forms! Invisible to humans, they mostly feed on the surplus of human emotions.
At first, the mechanic was a quick timed event mechanic to synchronize with the person’s heart. But now, it has completely changed: when you use your Heart Dive, a labyrinth appears, representing the client’s inner emotional conflict. Lunne must then guide the emotion to the exit to release it.
Client behaviour in the bakery 👥
We’ve also worked on customer behaviour to make your days in the bakery more varied. Impatient clients, hesitant ones, big orders… Now you’ve had a true taste of Parisian sass 🤭
And more illustrations! 🖼️
We’ve started adding illustrations to spice up our dialogues! Below, a panel of Mirembe and Ghaldari during their very first meeting! Look at these cuties. And this is just the beginning, I can’t wait for you to meet them all! ✨
We upload daily content about the development on our Discord, feel free to join us and chat with the community! Thank you for being part of our adventure! 💖
