Dear Islanders,
Does the sea breeze feel a little different today?
Two familiar faces arrived on Starsand Island—Gust and Ginger from the distant mainland are visiting the island for a special journey!
Starsand Island × My Time at Portia Collaboration will begin!
After their busy days in Sandrock and Portia, this beloved brother-and-sister duo will be taking a well-deserved break and joining us as new neighbors on Starsand Island, and ready to begin a peaceful new chapter of their lives by the ocean.
Once Starsand Island officially launches, Gust and Ginger will appear as special neighbors on this cozy and sun-soaked island! Whether you've known them for years or will be meeting them for the first time, you’ll be able to create new memories, share warm conversations, and enjoy slow, healing days together.
(Note: Ginger and Gust's friendship level can be raised up to 4 hearts, unlocking the special story.)
Meet Your New Neighbors!
Gust — The Calm and Reliable Architect
You might find him near the beach, studying the island's architecture—or perhaps simply enjoying the golden glow of a Starsand sunset. Don't hesitate to say hello! He's always happy to talk about his passions for building, beauty, and dreams.
Ginger — A Gentle Touch in the Sea Breeze
For Ginger, the island's sunshine, flowers, and ocean air will be the perfect match. You may spot her reading on the grass or quietly watching the waves roll in. A simple greeting will surely earn you one of her warm smiles.
Seeing new friends stepping onto the beach, we also feel particularly warm. Working hand in hand with the My Time at Portia team to bring this heartfelt crossover to life has been a wonderful journey, and we can’t wait for you to experience it too.
So, next time you stroll along the beach, keep an eye out—you might just meet a certain talented architect or a red-haired lady enjoying the sea view.
Who knows? A new memory might begin with a simple hello.
Starsand Island is now featured in Steam Next Fest, and the free demo is available to play!
