Hey you bastards! Welcome to Kev’s little clubhouse in blah-blah-blah words-on-a-screen form.
Those of you joining us for the first time, you’re in for a treat. All of Kev’s minions—we mean, the team here at Clever Plays—is excited to not just tell you more about Happy Bastards and how we’re making it, but also give you exclusive updates, Discord perks, and chances to play the game WAY before anyone else.
How do you get exclusive access to all this cool stuff, you ask?
Hell, that’s the easy part! Just jump into our discord, enter the HB “Insider Program” section and fill out the form. …
And maybe tell us, “Kev sent me.”
Getting news and insights FIRST!
We want to talk to YOU, first! Maybe you’re here because you love awesome tactical RPGs. Maybe you’re here because of your undying love for Kev. So, HB Insiders will get the word, straight from the devs before we even write some fancy press release or whatever.
Hell, here’s a freebie for you, just because you showed to check this out: Sign up to become an HB Insider before June. Do that and you’ve got a solid shot at being selected to play a dev build of the game long before we even have a demo out for everyone else to try! These test sessions will begin later this year.
What kind of stuff do the HB Insiders GET?!?
Well, beyond an open-door chance to hang with the devs and talk about everything from game design to what we’re playing, we’re always coming up with little things that you could use for fun. For example, some sweet-ass stickers and emojis that you can use wherever – like the ones pictured here!
Here’s a taste of what we’ve already shared with the insiders: An exclusive in-game shot of some bastards, a first test of our random character generator. We also asked Kev’s Insider Crew to tell us who they’d recruit into their gang of misfit mercs.
The fun’s just beginning here. We’ve got time between now and launch and we WANT you folks along for the ride. It’s more than just steering a Discord conversation, you’ll kinda be part of the team! We want to hear what YOU think as we continue building out this crazy kingdom.
Alright, one last pitch and then we’ll leave it alone. For now. Join our HB Insiders Program. Don’t do it for the XP, do it for the FAME!
