Hey Builders!
I've got a HUGE update for you today with bunch of fresh new content for the game! There's a ton to get into so I'm just going to get to it!
Fame Points
First off, I added a new system of Fame Points. Fame points are earned by combining buildings, and can be used to unlock and upgrade stuff. For this update, two new unique buildings can be unlocked and upgraded using fame points!
The fame points are visible now on the main game menu:
Building Maintenance
Second, I wanted to challenge you guys more. I made a system where buildings get worn down, and you have to hire maintenance people fix them. If you don't, it starts to detract from your glorious visit rate.
You have to build this little guy first using fame points:
Then you can hire a maintenance worker here:
Entertainers
Next, I wanted to add more fun and life to the boardwalk. For this update, I've added a feature to hire and upgrade entertainers. Entertainers wander the boardwalk and earn money!
Build this building with fame points:
And then hire and upgrade them here:
Collab with Kittenship Care
Last but certainly not least, I've collaborated with High Flying Studio on the launch of their awesome game Kittenship Care! Part of this collab adds a cool new tier 2 building:
Can you find out which buildings to combine to make it?
And don't forget to go buy Kittenship Care on Steam! It's on sale now for launch week!
Roadmap Update
This update puts us a good chunk of the way through our roadmap!
For the next update, I'm going to finish out the upgrades which includes a new competitor system! After that, it's on to the Event and VIP systems, then finishing out buildings!!
Release is getting close, people! Hold on to your butts!
