Hey builders! Just a small update today on the game, I've changed the way the visit rate mechanic works for entertainment buildings. You'll notice a new icon on inspection menus:
This little number means that every hour, the visit rate for your boardwalk will go up by this amount. I've also added a button below on the inspection menu that will let you upgrade this by a bit.
It's a big change to how visit rates work in the game, and we'll see how it goes. Let me know what you think about it.
One of the big reasons I felt the need to do this, is because with the addition of sliders in the last update, the entertainment buildings needed a fourth stat that adjusts along with the others. Hopefully this will give players more freedom and flexibility in building their boardwalk.
Full changes notes below:
0.4.03
Updated Visit Rate Increase Mechanics from Entertainment Buildings
Entertainment buildings now have a visit rate increase amount. Every hour, the business will increase your boardwalk's visit rate by this amount.
The business visit rate increase is visible by inspecting the business.
The business visit rate increase can be upgraded at the inspection menu, and is able to be modified by the businesses slider.
This provides a new way for players to manage their businesses actively and provides some level of control over the visit rate increase for the boardwalk.
Balancing Changes
Cost of marketing campaigns has been increased slightly.
Other fixes
Fixed the visit rate display to show a max of two decimal places.
Thanks as always!
