Full Release
Just wanted to say that we're more or less actively working on the full release for Star Chef Simulator! You can get some impressions below.
What's missing? You're right! The chef employee is still on my list, I'll start working on it during the next few weeks. Then there are some remaining bug fixes and hopefully I'll be able to address the annoying bug of employees being stuck on training courses and never coming back xD (didn't find the issue so far).
I'm also planning to maybe add something like a coffee machine to the final version? We'll see!
I'm hoping to get the full release done right before Christmas, but I still want to have some time for me and some very special other persons :)
It will be the following:
Developing → Internal Testing → Bug Fixing + Feature Completion + Localization → Playtesting → Bug Fixing the 2nd → Full Release (hopefully before Christmas) ✨
Playtests for Full Release version
To release an optimized and great working version of the game as v1.0.0, we need playtesters! If you'd like to help us testing the pre-release version of the final game, giving helpful feedback to make it nearly perfect, you're welcome - please join our Discord server. You can write us a message there in the respective channel (#become-a-playtester).
We would really appreciate your support!
Here are some impressions of the full release!
The full patch notes and bug fixes are obviously way longer.
As request multiple times by the community, we're replacing the old knives with new ones. They have a wooden handle so you can see them much better. Thanks to Micha for modelling them!
We've overworked the dish rating screen again to better match the whole UI design of the game, loving it!
We're replacing the old AI profile pictures with MetaHumans (trying to avoid AI)! You're selected pictures are transferred to their respective MetaHuman version.
Your feedback is crucial to the further development of Star Chef Simulator. If you have any suggestions, comments or discovered bugs in the game, please feel free to share them with us using the Steam forum or our Discord server.
