Greetings, Commanders.
You now know Outlive 25 is being released on April 30. War is upon us, and it is coming fast.
However, we understand that before that announcement we have been quiet. We understand that silence is not great when you're waiting for a game.
Here's the honest answer: we've been building.
After Steam Next Fest, we took everything you told us. Every piece of feedback from the demo, every comment, every discussion thread and went back to work. Updates to the demo, improvements to balance and performance, refinements to the campaign experience. It wasn't the kind of work that makes for exciting weekly posts. It was the kind of work that makes for a better game.
But we weren't completely offline. While the Community Hub stayed quiet, we were documenting the whole process.
Remastering a Classic is our behind-the-scenes documentary series on YouTube and if you haven't seen it, this is the best place to start. Each episode takes you inside the development: recovering the original files from 2000, rebuilding the engine, recreating the menus, getting the sound right, and all the decisions that go into making a remaster that respects the original without being held back by it. Make sure to turn on English captions!

🎬 Episode 2 — Sound and Vision Recreating the look and sound of Outlive 25 what changed, what stayed, and why. → View game page
We have also been posting DevLog videos about the remaster process. Please check them out if you did not have the chance of doing it before:

We'll have more to share very soon!
In the meantime: if you haven't added Outlive 25 to your wishlist yet, now is a good time. Every wishlist helps us reach more players who've been waiting for a game like this.
Thank you for staying. We'll see you on the battlefield on April 30!
