Hello Pyron Warriors, this is Studio Doodal.
We are greeting you with our third development note.
June and July have brought many internal changes to the game. The long-awaited Parts System has finally started functioning, we have created the key feature of the game, the Core Stone, and the operation of the Heat Core has also been updated.
1. Core Stone
In Solateria, there are Core Stones that allow players to use the Heat Resistance they gain during gameplay to grow the protagonist. Players can enhance their chosen Core Stones with Heat Resistance to develop the protagonist according to their own style. Core Stones can also be engraved to hold even more Heat Resistance.
With a single Core Stone able to enhance multiple stats, and each Core Stone having a distinct role, players can cultivate their character based on their preferred playstyle.

2. Completion of Various Parts
Alongside the Core Stone, the Parts System that allows players to customize the protagonist to their liking has been completed.
The protagonist can equip four types of parts: Attack, Defense, Heat, and Warmhorn. Each part has unique effects that add variety to gameplay.
Through various part combinations, you can now experience battles in your very own style.
3. Heat Core
The Heat Core System introduced in our previous development note has also undergone adjustments.
Previously, increasing the Heat Core mainly required parrying. However, collecting enough Heat Core demanded too many parries, and the skills that consumed the collected Heat Core were not as powerful as expected.
We wanted Heat Core skills to serve as a kind of “ultimate ability” that could be used strategically in the right moments, so we decided to focus more on this role.
Therefore, Heat Cores can now only be recharged at Altars, but in return, players can unleash more powerful skills. This change allows you to use the limited Heat Core strategically to escape dangerous situations.

4. Ashfire Library
We believe the Ashfire Library will become one of the most frequently visited locations during your exploration of Solateria.
Located atop the Ashen Hills, the library has been carefully designed with the player’s movement and convenience in mind.
While all the important NPCs and functions are centralized, exploring every corner of the library may lead to unexpected rewards.

5. Adjustment of Creature Attack Motions
As mentioned in the previous development note, Solateria focuses on parry-based combat.
Believing that parrying is the most crucial element, we have refined all creature attack motions and timings to make parries more intuitive and precise.
Our goal is to deliver an even sharper and more rhythmic parrying experience.
6. Tutorial Boss – Charon’s Appearance Cutscene Update
Before the player’s first encounter with Charon, our intended player behavior was: “There’s a dangerous river ahead, so let’s turn back.”
After realizing the river is impassable, the player would turn back and suddenly encounter Charon emerging from the river.
However, from various exhibition feedback, we noticed that many players simply fell into the river and died, then revived at an Altar and wandered off elsewhere.
To prevent players from getting lost, we redesigned Charon’s encounter conditions. How exactly Charon now appears will be something you’ll have to experience in the game!
7. Item Box
Item Boxes containing important items have been added.
While regular items will still be scattered in the field, Item Boxes will offer more significant items. Explore the world of Solateria to find hidden Item Boxes and claim valuable items!
This concludes our third development note.
Thank you.
