"The surface was just the beginning. The real Dustlands are underground."
In the Sheol DLC, the world of the Dustlands has been torn apart. Take your first steps into an underground realm, where human civilization lives on in a battle for survival even stranger and more complex than the world above. Two separate worlds—the surface and the underground—are waiting for you to unlock their mysteries.
New Underground World: Sheol
Enter subway stations to travel between the darkness of the underground and the all-pervading danger of the surface. Explore and survive in two different worlds where your every decision could determine the future of the Dustlands.
- Volcanos and Glaciers: New terrain types bring whole new experiences. Change your strategy to fit the terrain, carefully shepherding resources to survive in the Dustlands.
- Underground Cities and Factions: The cities of the underground are denser than the surface, each one with its own unique cultures and factions who could be potential allies—or potential enemies. Your choices will determine the balance of power in world of the underground.
Ruin Exploration: Risk and Reward
Mysterious ruins lie scattered across the underground, symbols of the glories of the old world fraught with danger—and opportunity.
- Explore Ruins: Pull your crew out of your truck and send them to explore ruins filled with deadly traps, powerful enemies, and priceless loot. They'll need all their cunning to survive.
- Incredible Rewards: Ruins are filled with rare equipment, road-building survey data, and other priceless resources. Every successful exploration will grant you huge rewards, helping you to stay alive in the underground.
New Storyline: The Dustlands' Final Chapter
Deep in the underground lurks a secret that could shake the Dustlands to their foundations. The decision is yours: will you bring the truth to light?
- Multiple Endings: Every choice you make could affect how your story ends.
- New Characters and Factions: The underground is filled with new characters and factions—interact with them to drive the story forward.
