As we intensively work on the game, we are constantly discovering diaries, letters, and other documents that shed light on Prince Jerian's life. These findings help us reconstruct the history and the rich world he inhabits.
We've decided to share these discoveries with you — the most striking, emotional, and mysterious fragments — so that together we might better understand the journey of the Empire's heir. Who was Jerian, really? What shaped him, and what struggles did he have to overcome?
Below, you'll find a selection of notes straight from his personal writings. Each one brings us a step closer to the truth.
Reflections on Identity and Duty
While studying one of the journals, we came across this deeply personal note, filled with inner tension. It seems that Jerian was caught between two opposing forces. But what exactly were they?
Was it the burden of the crown? Expectations from the court? Or something more personal? What responsibilities made it so hard for him to be himself? What do you think?
Pain and the Mirror
This next note struck us with its rawness. The pain described here goes beyond the physical — it’s piercing, existential. The reflection in the mirror no longer feels like his own.
What could bring someone to such a state? And how does one recover from it?
Unbearable Guilt
A new note, possibly written in a moment of crisis. Jerian speaks of guilt, of irreversible consequences. But what is he referring to here? And why does he believe that it's already too late?
Do you think he's truly beyond redemption?
A Farewell Not Yet Said
This short fragment reveals another side of Jerian — one more tender and vulnerable. He's trying to stop someone from leaving, asking for a moment to say goodbye. But who is Marta to him? And did he ever make it in time?
Was this a final parting… or just the beginning of a longer separation?
The Voice of a Ruler
And finally — a note that sheds light on Jerian's public life, not just his private agony. Here, we get a glimpse of him as a leader, speaking before a crowd. What caused the silence that followed his words?
How do you think his decisions were received by the people? And what consequences did they entail?
These notes are but a glimpse into Prince Jerian's tangled past. We'll continue to uncover more pieces of his story filled with emotion, choices, and secrets.
