If even Payday 3 struggled against the co-op heist might of Payday 2, Crime Boss: Rockay City had a Sisyphean task ahead of it. Originally launching in 2023 before coming to Steam a year later, it was marred by bugs, balance problems, and a perceived lack of content from the playerbase. Since then, however, Crime Boss: Rockay City has been steadily improving, and while it still might not be for everyone, it's enjoying quite the resurgence right now. If you want to try it, you can currently nab the game at an incredibly steep discount and dive in with returning players.
