Greetings!
Thank you for your interest in A Merchant's Promise Demo!
What is the Demo?
- The Demo is a LIGHT introduction to the game world. This is not a 1:1 feature match with the main game. Simply put, this is a great way to see if you enjoy a "No Inventory" gameplay style. While not unique, it is different, and I'd rather you know now than have to go through a refund process later!
- This is also an excellent opportunity for me to gather feedback and expose my coding to a more people. While it has been play-tested by myself and others to catch major issues, there's no better way than letting more players get their hands on it.
- I'm sure I will be fixing several things based on your feedback, and I'm using this as an important step to ensure I have a solid foundation moving forward. So thank you for participating!
How do I Provide Feedback?
The quickest and most organized way is to head over to the DISCORD and post in the #feedback channel.
How do I Report a Bug?
You can report bugs in two ways:
- Join the DISCORD and post in the #bug-reports channel.
- Use the "BUG REPORT" button available in the game menu.
Can I leave a Review?
Yes! Whether positive or negative, the Demo has its own store page for you to leave a review.
If leaving a NEGATIVE review, I kindly ask you to provide constructive feedback. This way I can address the issue and update you with any improvements!
When is the Game going to Release?
A Merchant's Promise will release into Early Access on March 7th, 2025, after the Steam Next Fest!
What are the Future Plans for A Merchant's Promise?
- I aim to fully complete the game with its intended features by the end of Spring/Summer 2025.
- This game is my first project after learning C#, and it's an experiment to test the market for this "style" of game.
- Pending its success, I would like to expand on the concept with a more dramatic and multiplayer sequel: "Merchants Online."
Thank you for your support and feedback!
