Evening everyone!
I will bring the servers down at approximately 8 PM Eastern (some earlier, some later) to apply the latest patch.

Patch notes 10 July
For the week’s patch, the teams’ main focus was on implemented first pass voice in game, stabilizing connectivity for players, beginning to develop the necessary framework so a third game mode can be introduced with our upcoming new map and introducing a new HUD design.
New Features in Patch:
VOIP—First pass on voice in game:
Currently you can talk to teammates using the pre-set “push to talk” key (check menu Options/Input and adjust key to your preference). The opposing teams cannot hear each other in game. Special channels for dead players have been added so the dead cannot talk to the living. Late joins have been added to this channel. Text chat mirrors these rules.
NOTE: We are aware that there are some occasions where the rules logic is not being applied properly in text chat mainly, with the odd exception in voice. We have added additional logging so we can investigate.
Lobby has separate voice channels so you can communicate there as well. Currently all can hear each other in the lobby. Feedback is welcome should the community feel this should work differently.
You have an option on the lobby screen to mute a player in game if you wish. This is an individual settings for each client so one player muting another does not affect other players hearing that person. Muting someone mutes them both in voice and in text chat for you. Since it is a lobby feature, you must return to lobby to unmute someone you muted.
Proxy chat requires further development so is not in this release.
Individual mic volume settings are greyed out and will be removed from the Options. These levels can be adjusted in Steam/Settings/Voice instead.
New Game Mode framework:
The framework required for development of the third game mode has been implemented successfully. This required a full test of our existing game modes to ensure no conflicts to their functionality happened as a result. Our dev testers gave it a thumbs up but as a precaution, please keep an eye out for anything you believe has been affected and let us know.
Ingame HUD Redesign:
Big thanks goes out to LYNCH, a community member who worked with the dev team on coming up with a new design for the HUD. You have the standard compass now in place of the mini map style, health bar, stance indicator, alive player count for each side and round clock. Headset indicator is there but not activated at this point—this will come. Also improvements in the weapon display component of the Hud are also included.
UI improvements
An additional input key was added to allow players the option of crouch or toggle crouch. Cleanup of features that are not and will not be supported were completed for the Video options.
Bug Fixes:
Bug 364 - Client Disconnects on leaving and rejoining the same server—a significant amount of time was spent this week testing and analyzing what was causing these disconnects. The results of that testing uncovered a bug in the engine code where client details were held for an engine process for too long causing the player to be removed at inappropriate times. The devs have now reprogrammed this code so client details are removed on the initial quit and the player can rejoin.
Resurrection of Bug 111 and New Bug 357 - Sound issues – Migration to 4.8 and its new audio framework introduced some issues with certain sounds in H-Hour, such as crawling. Some sounds became noticeably louder while others were muted. Sound classes and attenuation settings have been added to address this. Additional tuning of effect volumes will continue over the coming week.
Bug 336 - Elimination round win logic has been changed as requested by the community. Round win is decided by killing all opponents and not on a point basis now.
Bug 235 - Late join bug that occasionally showed player doors in the wrong state (it was open but appeared closed and the player could walk through it) now fixed.
Bug 339, 340 – HUD Icon fade on entering/leaving viewing distance, Nameplate fade on death.
Unreported bug - Fix issue where listen servers (Create a Server) would actually end their game session immediately after starting it because it would try to start the session twice. The second time it tried to start the session it would fail (because it was already started). This meant that listen servers, as far as Steam was concerned, didn't exist after they were started so various things (like being able to join a listen server after the match had started) didn't work.
Unreported bug – tracers sometimes would go through walls, fixed.
