I will be bringing the servers down at approximately 730 PM, updates will be rolled out over a 30-45 minute duration as special configuration of the servers is required. I will run a few 24/7 servers with the new map and I will setup the rest of the servers to include a rotation of all maps and modes.
Make sure you update your clients by restarting Steam!

Patch notes 17 July
This is a major milestone for the team this week with major new content and some important big fixes to our overall game round/match logic – a request many, many of you have asked of us to do.
New Features in Patch:
Introducing “Factory” our newest map. This map is first pass with many assets yet to be added as we work closely with the community to determine if it works as intended or requires minor or major changes to layout. It also has this destructible bridge that can be used to vaporize your enemy should they dare to cross.
Please refer to this thread from Kevin and add all your feedback there to help the team make this map the best one yet. Factory is unique in that it is suitable for multiple game modes and we will be running them all to let you decide for yourselves.
New Game Mode “Sabotage” – Sabotage is a twist on demolition and a strong teamwork based map. Only SOF can handle the bomb and plant. Terrorist must defend the two potential plant sites and kill the enemy before they plant or defuse the bomb. If you don’t provide cover, your teammates won’t last for long!
Bug Fixes:
Bug 335 –
Demolition Mode game logic – this mode has been revamped to meet the logic proposed by the community. There are three ways to win: kill the side, plant and explode the bomb, or defuse the bomb. All round/match logic changed now as well. If at round count one team is in the lead, they win. If there is a tie, additional rounds will be played to determine a winner. If one team exceeds 50% of the possible rounds, they will immediately win the match.
Bug 370 -
All round/match logic changed now for Elimination. If at round count (e.g., 11) one team is in the lead, they win. If there is a tie, additional rounds will be played to determine a winner. If one team exceeds 50% of the possible rounds (e.g., 6), they will immediately win the match whether the total round count has happened or not.
Crashes –
The mysterious crashes introduced in the last build have had a temporary fix implemented to prevent the crash. Further investigation will be required to identify the root cause but this fix will ensure the originating crash will not occur.
Bug 333 – Respawn issue has been fixed
Bug 332 Weapons disappear during gameplay fixed
Bug 304 DXTory closed by originator
Bug 305 No hud toggle (F4) deactives between mode changes fixed
Bug 235 Late join sees doors in wrong state fixed
Bug ? (will find later and update) - Controller menu input added to start button for system menu
Bug ? (will find later and update) Player join and leave will now display in text chat
Updates on first pass content:
VOIP –
A large amount of network profiling data was gathered this week from the servers and some clients. This data is being analyzed to determine what is required for changes to the system. More to follow in future updates.
Hitscan –
We are still analyzing server logs for client rejects and reviewing community feedback on potential improvements and the addition of unique personalities for the weapons. This will be addressed in a later patch.
