Evening all,
Tomorrow is the big day -- our Custom Map Workshop is going public!
To celebrate this occasion, we will also run a special sale on H-Hour for 14 days. So if you have been holding off buying H-Hour, this would be the time to get the game and join us all on the new community maps. Sale will start tomorrow, April 14th at 10 AM Pacific. For those interested, keep an eye on our Steam store page tomorrow!
We will also be running a variety of workshop map servers for you to check out the new creations. The team is still discussing what that content specifically will be but expect the servers to be online by mid-morning at the latest.
The map makers will do their best to get on the servers with everyone. They would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Please remember though this is a passion project for them not a job, so be kind, be supportive of the many hours they have put into doing their map(s) for us all and help by providing constructive feedback.
Things You Need to Know
- Hanging out with everyone to chat is best done on the community provided Discord server. For information on Discord, check out this information.
- Before you play on the servers, make sure you download all the available Workshop maps from our Workshop tab in the H-Hour Community Hub! More detailed information is below for those who have never used Workshop.
Getting the Workshop Maps:
From the Steam Library/Games menu, click on H-Hour: World's Elite so it shows our associated content.
On the far right under Links, click on Community Hub.
In the Hub, click on the tab marked "Workshop" to access the main page.
From there, click on the "Browse^" menu and select "Items", as shown in the image below.

Once on the maps page, click the big green Subscribe button to start downloading the map. Subscribing tells Steam to automatically keep your map up to date should the author upload a newer version.
