All players should download the latest from Steam and we encourage you to run a Verify on your cache files after the download and before playing. This can be done by right-clicking on H-Hour in your Steam Library, selecting Properties, then the Local Files tab and clicking on Verify integrity of cache on that tab.
The testing team was unable to replicate the Extraction bug on this build. However, without a full server load we cannot confirm the issue is fixed. We need community stress testing to judge whether this is no longer an issue. To help in this, we will run an Extraction only server and another server with only three modes. All players are invited to get together and stress test this game mode for us.

General Comments on the Patch and Community Concerns:
The main focus of this patch was to address errors identified through member submitted logs and dump files related to the Extraction bug and to address other messages that might affect build stability. The team worked on warning and error messages from the community, server logs and tester's logs. The intent was to eliminate any possible culprits that may contribute to game instability.
It is important to note that we do run the game from a development build for the purpose of generating and recording all errors and warnings alike. This is useful in helping the team identify new messaging not previously seen and in trouble shooting. Most engine messages are benign in nature and do not cause in game issues so the presence of warnings is not indicative of stability issues.
Disconnects is another community concern that I would like to address this morning. This can relate to many things including game code, engine bugs, player side internet connection drops, steam connection drops, packet floods, router cache floods, outdated router firmware, router or modem overheating, IP changes on your router causing DNS failure, etc. As an example, during the recent Steam sale, that platform was less stable and a rash of disconnects occured as a result.
To help us help you, we need to isolate those causes that are specific to the game versus those that are a result of some other factor. We ask players to:
- Consider whether there was a Steam issue at the time, e.g., Steam services went offline for a short period or an event was underway that would tax Valve's servers.
- Consider whether you experience disconnects in other games or online services, e.g., do you sometimes lose connection to external voips, the internet or on other games.
- Restart your modem/router to remove any linkage to related issues with those devices.
- Where it is clear it is a game bug causing the disconnect for you and not another source, please submit your log for the time of the disconnect to [email protected] so we can investigate.

Patch Notes Release 2.7.3.3
Changes:
- Hostage Minimap initialization was updated to match the same changes used for bomb minimap objects. For example, The minimap objects for Hostage elements are now displayed at the round start (after the warmup period); instead of immediately when the hostage is created.
- Weapon Pickup framework was modified to better interact with the swap/pickup logic.
- The white box on the slider should now stay in full view when set to the min/max most positions. Previously, half of the box would go out of view.
- Fix to Hostage Animation BluePrint to now reference the proper skeleton bone name
- Logic adjustment to references AudioManager device to better handle null references reported in logs
- Logic adjustment to a core player function to prevent some Fatal Crashes when called out of synch with game state
New:
- Resolution Quality slider has been added to Video options. This new setting has the potential for large FPS gains depending on your system setup. The slider allows a 60-100 % range.
- Resolution quality adjustment was disabled last year as it affected Nameplate placement and allowed players to sink into the terrain with that image being replicated to others. Basically allowing for someone to hide in the terrain. For this introduction, the associated framework code was redone to remove the Nameplate linkage and a minimum value was set to prevent terrain glitching. Those running at the lowest levels may see some sinkage while in prone, however, this information is not replicated to other players so no advantage is possible.
Map work:
- Major improvements in lighting of the rooms in Factory was completed by our artists. Some of the problem lights in tunnels and other locations that caused bleed through were also worked on.
- Map upgrades will be an ongoing process as resources are available.
