Hello Fellow Architects!
A super mega THANK YOU from all of us at Broken Arms Games!
The playtest was a hit, and your feedback is helping us shape UnderPar Golf Architect into something even better ahead of our 1.0 release.
Here are some awesome stats we wanted to share:
🏗️ 2,192 architects joined the playtest
⏱️ Average playtime: 1 hour and 22 minutes
🐞 37 high-priority bugs reported — the most common being: "Golfer stuck in queue or walking"
💭 50+ feature requests, with the top ones being: → "The ability to play your own hole" → "Tournaments!" (It’s neck and neck!)
🖌️ 80 of you gave a big thumbs up to the Course Design feature
🌍 Top 3 countries by player base: → United States: 38.5% → United Kingdom: 15% → Canada: 9.4%
💚 3,567 wishlist additions (THANK YOU!!!)
🤔 Strangest piece of feedback: "The Mayor is OP!" — we’re still laughing!
We also got amazing coverage from streamers and YouTubers, which gave our wishlist a fantastic boost. Thank you for playing, sharing, and cheering us on!
🛠️ What’s Next?
Now we’re taking a bit of time to iron out the bugs you helped uncover, polish some rough edges, and improve the overall experience.
But don’t worry — we’ll be back with another Playtest before the end of the summer! Stay tuned here on the Steam Hub and wishlist the game if you haven’t already to be the first to know.
Stay creative,
The Broken Arms Games Team
