It becomes increasingly difficult to do these reports as I finish more and more content, because the further we get into the game the more the new content becomes very spoiler heavy.
With that said, I'll do my best!
For starters, we've still got a long way to go before we hit our goal on the Kickstarter! Please give it a follow if you're interested in Silver Daze.
The current section of the game includes a lot of ReCollections, so that's where the bulk of work has gone. In addition to making more of them, we've also added new features such as an improved radar to help you detect enemies hiding in these dungeons!
We've also added in special encounters that can be found in the later portions of the game. This fellow here is called MajorTom, and if you find him you can attack him to get rare and exclusive cards... but he's gonna disappear fast!
We've also made some story tweaks in response to tester feedback from the previous build, and generally continued the pace to keep the game moving.
BUT! How about this whole year?
We began developing Silver Daze in August of 2023, just a month after Axial Disc 2 released. That means that as of writing this, the game has been in development for 17 months, a little under a year and a half!
Honestly, I'm really proud of how far we've come in this time! During the last year, we've completed five whole Zones, which is a massive chunk of the game's content! While it is difficult to make any promises while the Kickstarter growth is looking so slow, it's starting to look like a 2025 release is possible!
From the Silver Daze Team, we hope you guys have a happy New Year! Please look forward to Silver Daze as it continues its development!
