EXCITING NEWS, COMMANDERS!

Be one of the first to experience Observer Mode and a host of other game changes on the Public Test Branch (PTB) this weekend! These are some of features you’ve been waiting to check out, though please keep in mind they are still in development.

You can win some great prizes by checking these features out and playing the game! All you have to do is hit the top of the leaderboard by the end of the weekend or provide us constructive feedback on your testing experience to be eligible.

Keep in mind that this is a testing environment and you may experience issues during the event!

- Launch Grey Goo, which will require an update be downloaded the first time

How to access Observer Mode

Observer Mode can be tested out by joining a Custom Lobby and filling one of the "Observer Slot" entires, just as you would join a Custom Lobby as a player. Hosts of the match cannot fill the Observer Slot.

The PTB will only be available at certain times! Click here for the complete schedule. Also, since this is a test branch, expect bugs, crashes, lag, and potentially other issues. If they come up, please let us know!

At the start of each event, the leaderboards will be reset. At their conclusion, we will award a prize to the Top 5 players, as well as 5 randomly selected forum posters that provide feedback.

Top 5 Leaderboard Player Prizes (per each weekend event):

- $20 Steam Wallet card each (serial code provided via e-mail)

Top 5 Feedback Prizes (per each weekend event):

- $20 Steam Wallet card each (serial code provided via e-mail)

Leaderboard Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the Steam Wallet credit you must be within the Top 5 players on the 1v1 Ranked leaderboard by the time the PTB is closed at 8pm PDT for each event. In order to first appear on the 1v1 Ranked leaderboard, each player must complete 10 matches and become listed.

The top 5 players in the 1v1 Ranked leaderboard by the event's end will be contacted on Steam for email confirmation and code delivery. Being placed in the top 5 for one event does not exclude you from the other event.

Forum Feedback Eligibility

In order to be eligible for Steam Wallet credit for your feedback, please fill out the survey linked in this post with all required information. We will randomly select 5 entries at each PTB event's end at 8pm PDT and will be emailed first for verification and then for their prize code. Please allow at least 48 hours to be contacted.

A winning entry in one event does not exclude you from just participating and submitting feedback in the other event. Only one entry to win is allowed though.

PLAYTIMES AND YOUR FEEDBACK

The best way to participate would be through Unranked matchmaking or by creating matches in the lobby. Your live rank will not be affected by wins or losses while on the PTB.

Keep all feedback in the PTB Forums, and watch there for potential updates to the times the PTB branch is available.

See you in-game this weekend!
