Hello everyone,
We’d like to inform you that The World of Orathos is currently entering a temporary pause. This decision was made so our team can take a step back and rethink some core elements of the game.
🎮 Reworking the game experience
Your feedback has been invaluable. Many of you have expressed appreciation for the Passive ATB combat system, so we’ll continue developing the game around it. However, we’ve also heard your concerns about the lack of difficulty in some areas and the main storyline feeling too linear — simply moving from point A to point B with limited choice.
We’re now re-evaluating the structure to create a richer, more immersive experience with deeper storylines and meaningful choices.
⚙️ Upcoming changes
Some current mechanics will be removed to make way for ideas we’ve had in mind since the very beginning — ideas that we believe will greatly enhance the game’s vision and quality.
🛠️ Weapons & armor patch
We know many of you are eagerly awaiting the patch for weapons and armor that are currently unavailable. While it’s still on our roadmap, it will now be integrated into the broader redesign of the game.
💡 A necessary break
While development is not canceled, the team needs some time. Our lead developer, Ropana, is currently facing a burnout and is unable to continue working on the project for now.
After a year of intense solo development, this break is crucial for his health and long-term well-being.
🙏 Thank you for your support
We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. We’ll keep you updated on Ropana’s recovery and the future of Orathos in the coming weeks.
Thank you for being part of the World of Orathos.
This isn’t goodbye — just a much-needed pause to come back stronger.
See you soon,
The World of Orathos Team
