Linux players, just a quick heads-up before Update 12 drops on Sept 24:
We’re moving away from the native Linux build, but you can keep playing without interruption. All your progress will carry over to the Windows build under Proton, so you can continue where you left off and enjoy the latest updates.
We’re making this change for several reasons:
Persistent visual bugs on NVIDIA cards on Linux, which are resolved by switching to Proton
Technical changes to the game’s netcode that prevent full compatibility with a native Linux build
Certain Linux-specific bugs, such as issues with screen resolutions and refresh rates
Native Linux build support will end with our next update on September 24th.
