Hello everyone!
We have been working on the guns quite a bit, and have made some pretty big fixes for them. Also some exciting news at the end!
- Aiming down sights should feel much better now. Holding down right click will always snap you back to ADS after reloading, even if you let go of right click and then hold it down again.
- All reloading and gun animations have been shortened, so you can get back to aiming much quicker.
Other fixes include:
- Fixed multiple annoying invisible walls.
- Fixed weird LOD issues in the Quarry section of the Little Creek map.
- Fixed enemy collision on some floors in the Campsite section of Little Creek Map.
- Players shouldn't be able to get stuck in the Secret Bunker area of Little Creek.
- When holding the Red Gem, all Gem Refiners should now glow and give a waypoint. Players can find the closest refiner much easier.
- Medical chests have all had their hitboxes increased, should be loot able everywhere now.
- Converted all ammo chests to only one slot, so you don't have to loot as much. Ammo count per stack was increased to keep it the same amount you might find.
- All players no longer hear the biomass harvest squelching sound when another player harvests it.
- All players no longer hear the delivery chest sound effect when another player uses it.
- Soul jar has a larger hitbox, so it should be much easier to pick up when it is next to the backpack.
- You can now pick up the Anomaly Capture tool with Q or E when it has finished capturing.
- Generator event has been made easier, it will be harder only on harder difficulties.
- We are testing some new HUD elements called System Messages. These pop up to help the player understand what to do. We will keep adding these with every patch, so players aren't confused with the many random events they can start. It is just the basic stuff for now, but will get more complete with every patch!
The exciting news? If all goes well, we will have both the Anomaly Capture tool snapping to the players back so they can shoot while extracting, and also the SHOTGUN added by the end of the weekend! As long as we don't blow something up.
Again, thank you all so much for playing the game. We stopped responding to reviews because Steam apparently recommends we don't. But we read every single one of those, and they mean so much to us. We also read every forum post and discord report, so please let us know bugs you find or issues/things you'd like to see.
