lone.AI Beta 0.7.0 Update
This update introduces new features such as a damage dealt display, the treasure ship, and more. Below is a complete list of the changes.
NEW Treasure Ship
- A rare ship can spawn, dropping random pickups and a module chest.
NEW The Void
- The Void can be accessed by flying out of the solar system.
- The Void is a more dangerous area with its own enemies and mysteries.
Locations
- NEW Secret: An unmapped planet is now functional.
- Decreased the defeat requirements for unlocking Thonia Remote Access.
- Added more AI dialog tips to the AI Station.
- More dialog options and responses unlock as you progress.
Damage:
- NEW Added numbers to the game to display damage dealt and received.
- The damage numbers display can be toggled on and off in the main menu.
- Changed the collision box for Nova attacks.
- Adjusted damage reductions for various ships and attacks.
- Modified how some attacks and modules deal damage.
Modules
- NEW Armor Module: Increases damage reduction, can be acquired multiple times.
- NEW Acceleration Module: Increases acceleration, can be acquired multiple times.
- NEW Speed Module: Increases maximum speed, can be acquired multiple times.
- Including all modules this brings the total number to 47.
- The Striker module can now be acquired multiple times.
Skill Tree
- NEW Added back shot and side shot skills as roll options in the skill tree.
- Orbiting shots will no longer stack over each other when purchased simultaneously.
Other
- Updated the turret ability to stay active until a new turret is placed.
- Decreased the defeat requirements for unlocking the missile ability.
- Decreased the defeat requirements for unlocking the auto fire upgrade.
- Changed the color of the explosive hit effect.
- Made a slight change to the shield pickup's color.
- Changed the ship's HUD display settings to save the current selection.
- Made some adjustments to the speed and acceleration of certain enemy ships.
- The 'Game Over' text is now replaced with 'Victory' when the game is won.
- An additional easter egg has been added.
- Other minor bug fixes and changes.
