DLC and Workshop sets grouped
The DLC preview- and Workshop sets are now grouped under a covering "window", so it should hopefully be clearer how to minimize them, and what belongs to what.
Also when they're minimized there will now be a small green number showing the number of new DLCs and/or Workshop decks, that you haven't seen yet.
Shield lock now covers all editing
The Shield Lock button on the right now covers all edit operations; anything that would change the contents of Sets, Decks, and Banks. While previously it only locked drag & drop operations. Also all buttons not essential to playing visuals are disabled or hidden while the Shield Lock is active.
This can be handy during shows, as under hectic, live circumstances it's easy to click the wrong thing in a hurry, even when sober. Enabling Shield Lock ensures your show will go on!
Black screen issue fixed!
The black screen issue that was affecting many people has now been fixed! It was due to a race condition that only became apparent when logging in to Steam finished before loading the mixer. Its intermittent nature made it more tricky than most bugs to track down
Also it took a while before anyone reported the bug. To be able to catch and fix such bugs faster in the future AI VJ now reports crashes to us directly. No private information is collected for this, and the relevant data is stored safely within the EU.
Bugs Fixed
Several more bugs were fixed, and small improvements made:
- Upload to Workshop button sometimes being disabled while logged into steam. Fixed!
- Unity was updated to the latest version
- Minor UI imperfections addressed
- Various code cleanups
