Offline Mode
Imagine you're at a show, but you've forgotten your steam login details. Or there's no internet, but you were logged out of Steam, so Steam's offline mode doesn't work...
Worries no more! AI VJ has its own offline mode now! If there's no internet, or you've closed the Steam login widget, AI VJ will now start anyway! So your show can go on! WIth peace of mind. Be sure to make the 'Desktop Shortcut for Offline Use' from the Main Menu, before leaving home, as otherwise you'll have to find the '.exe' file manually (usually in Program Files x86/ Steam/ steamapps/ common/ AI-VJ/ AI-VJ.exe).
When there is internet, AI VJ will try to go through Steam first, as it's better for updates, and you staying up to date with the latest. But in a pinch our new offline mode allows you to use AI VJ for 50 hours of runtime between logins on Steam. That should last you a festival. Unless you don't sleep or eat at all! :D (thanks Habbening and others for requesting this feature)
Logo Positioning
The Small Logos, and the Flash Banner, now have a 'Position' menu item (under 'Logos'), that allows you to position them at the top instead of bottom. Nice to change things up, or when your projector is partially hidden behind a table or stage (thanks Habbening).
Bugs Fixed
I finally got access to a Windows 11 development machine, and have been thoroughly testing AI VJ. Everything worked as expected, though I did manage to track down one bug. In the meantime we also updated to the latest Unity version, and we're now using the latest video libraries as well.
Bugs fixed:
- Somewhat rare crash on opening AI VJ that would happen when loading a really old save file, or when no visuals files referenced from the save were left in place
