Hi everyone!
In this small report we want to share the recent demo update and some festival news!
Best Indie Games Festival
From 01.09 till 08.09 our demo is taking part in the Best Indie Game Steam Festival. The event is organised by the people from that YouTube channel and we are very thankful for the opportunity to share our game there. There will also be a live stream with lots of new indies on that channel, so take a look!

Demo update
In this update we introduced a couple of changes that should improve the UX and the first-time player experience, and fix performance and localisation issues.
Card interaction with the world
Now, when using a card on a tile, the card will snap to the tile, so the player does not need to select the tile precisely. We also added an extra tutorial screen explaining how to use cards - it seems the card usage mechanic was not that obvious to some players.

Highlight of defensive constructions
Sometimes, during an enemy wave, when the player has a lot of defensive constructions, it is hard to tell which of them are in range and can attack the enemy. To address that, we now highlight the constructions that can attack a nearby enemy.
Comics rework
We received your feedback about the demo having too much introduction before the full gameplay, so we decided to cut the initial narrative intro and throw you right into the meat of the gameplay. We still left some of the comics in the game but made them much shorter, so you can focus on the gameplay.
Icons and graphics update
We have updated enemy icons to a higher resolution and tweaked the graphics settings to make the game more saturated.

Bugfixes and optimisations
We improved performance on some older devices as well as fixed issues related to the missing characters in Japanese
That is all for today. Go check the updated version and join our Discord - we have small cozy growing community and we would like to chat with our players!
