We are happy to announce that we've opened the public Beta testing of Heretical!
If you want to join the test, please follow these steps:
- Join Heretical Discord server.
- Go to channel #beta-invites.
- In this channel, please send a single message to request the Beta key.
- We will send you the Beta key in a DM.
- Activate the key on Steam
To activate the key, follow these steps:
- Go to the "Games" tab in the Steam app.
- Go to "Activate Product on Steam..."
- Enter the Heretical Beta key we've send you and click "Confirm"
If you find any bugs or have any feedback on the game, you can post directly to the dedicated channels #beta-bug-reports and #beta-feedback in the "HERETICAL BETA" section.
For any further suggestions, you can post to the #suggestions channel in the "GENERAL" section.
Compared to the Heretical Demo, Beta encompasses some 40-50% of the entire game, containing:
- New areas
- New playable characters
- New features
- 54 Prophecies to fulfill
- Many new skills
- Unique weapons
- Bosses
To set your expectations, it takes around 20 hours of gameplay to complete all the Prophecies currently available in Heretical Beta.
Based on all the feedback we're getting, we're constantly pushing new updates, while in parallel we work on expanding the Beta content even more.
Once the Beta testing is complete and the game is stable, we plan to officially publish it as an Early Access game. From there, we continue to work on Heretical, providing a constant stream of updates as we push toward the 1.0 release.
