We have some fantastic news to share with you today! As our community grows around the world, we want to make sure Solarpunk Tactics is accessible to as many players as possible. To that end, we’re thrilled to announce that we've collaborated with an amazing team of translators to bring full localization to our Steam store page!
We believe that good localization is about more than just translating words; it’s about translating the feeling and intent of the world we're building together.
That’s why we kicked things off with an innovative call, bringing their translators together with our design and narrative leads. We had a deep conversation about the game's lore, its unique aesthetics, and the specific nuances of the Solarpunk genre. This allowed the translators team to grasp the core of Solarpunk Tactics and ensure every translation would be as accurate and immersive as possible.
Beyond that initial deep dive, the entire workflow was seamless. The setup was easy, the turnaround times were great, and the quality speaks for itself. We've already received wonderful feedback from community members in Japan and Brazil on the accuracy and natural feel of the language on the store page, which is the best validation we could ask for!
This successful collaboration on our store page is just the first step. Based on this wonderful experience, we are hopeful that we can continue our partnership with Localipsum to bring a full in-game localization of Solarpunk Tactics to you in the future.
