Hideo Kojima Hints Metal Gear Solid V Was An “Unfinished Masterpiece”

Due to a new posting on social media, Hideo Kojima may have inadvertently confirmed that his version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was unfinished.

It’s no secret prolific video game maker, Hideo Kojima, likes to do two things: post on social media and tease fans, and today he may have done both. In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), Kojima posted a published article from Inverse that’s titled “10 Years Later, Hideo Kojima’s Unfinished Masterpiece Is Still Influencing Today’s Games,” which implies Kojima believes Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an ‘unfinished masterpiece.’ The post can be seen below.
