The wait is almost over!
Hello, hello, Heroes! This is the final stretch for Fur and Fables to release...JUST 3 DAYS LEFT! 🔥 We're so happy about what the game looks like and all the new adventures you will face, from Endless Mode and powerful synergies to brand-new characters!
In these three days, we will recap all the most important features coming to the game. Let's go for it!
Controller Support and Steam Deck Compatibility
We are happily announcing that we have been hard at work and are doing our best to implement the feature you requested most: controller support.
We are finally announcing that Fur and Fables now support controllers, and yes, it's fully compatible with Steam Deck, too!
New Leveling System
We wanted to create a system that would allow for more control and choices and make the players more attached to their characters. So now, instead of leveling up automatically, you gather points and use them to select which characters you want to level up and when.
These new points stay with you between stages, so you can farm for them and gather as many as you need!
Because the level-up is now selective, you will generally level up much more slowly. To compensate for this, we modified the bonuses granted by leveling up so that each level grants you more significant bonuses than before.
UI Improvements + Party Reordering
The new level-up system also allowed us to show character stats more clearly: When you open the new Level-Up menu, you can see each character’s current stats and stats after level-up.
The menu adds another feature many players have requested for a long time: The option to switch places between party members mid-game freely. You can click the little arrows in the menu to move a character forward or backward in the line.
That’s everything for now, but come tomorrow for another recap! Join our Discord Server to stay updated and join the discussion. We’ll also be posting trailers and updates on our YouTube channel, and if you’d like to wishlist the game, you can do so now.
