I cannot express how happy I am to spend this special Candy Tree Festival with you! I specifically instructed my royal secretary not to decorate all the green trees in Fang Palace. I left this one tree untouched, so we could decorate it together with colorful candies and chocolates.
Watching you climb high up the ladder to hang the lights on the tree made me nervous. I couldn’t help but gently hold your waist and lift you off the ladder carefully. Let me hang the lights instead—I wouldn’t want you to be in danger. I’d be worried.
I’m so glad we made so many gingerbread men today. When we kneaded the dough together, my hands wrapped around yours, pressing the dough together. I felt a warm sense of happiness filling my heart.
Taking the gingerbread men out of the oven together was such an exciting moment!
When I brought out this enormous gingerbread giant, your jaw dropped in surprise!
◆ Mini-Game | Find the Gingerbread Man
Now, let’s play a little game! Can you find the gingerbread man in the box that looks exactly like the one next to me?
I know you’ll find it—just like how fate destined us to meet.
◆ Special Gift | Guess What It Is?
You even brought me a gift—how thoughtful of you! Your presence alone is the best gift heaven could give me. Thank you for saving me in the snow. To celebrate the Candy Tree Festival, let me give you this special gift.
Can you guess what this is? This red heart-shaped item has two long, white ears.
Here’s a hint: the items in my hands are part of a set. They’re both for you! Can you figure out what it is? (Answer below!)
Take a look! The items I’m holding in my hands are a pair, both for you. Have you guessed what it is yet? (The answer is at the bottom.)
◆ Song | Happy Candy Tree Festival!
Let’s listen to the Candy Tree Festival song together. This song was specially created for you.
**Lyrics Overview:**
In the Candy Tree Festival, love is the sweetest thing.
Your smile brings joy like no other gift can.
You’re a treasure sent from heaven, the perfect melody in my heart.
In this sugary dream world, it’s just you and me.
◆ Traditional Feast | Let’s Eat Roast Suckling Pig!
You must be hungry by now. Let’s head to the restaurant to enjoy the Candy Tree Festival’s roast suckling pig! It’s a traditional dish with a long history in the Kingdom of Fang. In traditional Chinese culture, roast suckling pig is often used as an offering to gods or ancestors to express gratitude and pray for peace and happiness.
Look at the pig's golden-brown skin and its perfect, complete form—it symbolizes family and national prosperity. That’s why we eat it during major festivals and celebrations.
The Candy Tree Festival is also a joyful time of harvest. Let’s enjoy this delicious roast suckling pig together! Just focus on eating—I’ll carve the meat for you. Isn’t it tasty?
Answer to the Riddles:
1. The correct gingerbread man is in the second row, first from the left: blue eyes, white mouth, orange buttons.
2. The gift I gave you is a pair of couple’s gloves. Since you saved me in the snow and gave me your red scarf, I’m giving you matching red gloves. The heart-shaped knitted item is a large mitten we can share. Each of us can slip our hands in through the white openings, letting us hold hands without barriers. Of course, there’s also a separate red glove for each of us.
