Hello. I'm TwY, the producer of HEAVEN SEEKER.
We have now reached Vol.4 of our development notes.
This time, we will introduce features we forgot to mention last time, as well as new Grimoires and side books.
■Bomb Evasion Function
This new feature was actually included in the PV revealed at Tokyo Game Dungeon.
When you activate a bomb at the moment you take damage, it nullifies the hit.
Additionally, if you are hit when you have only 1 HP left, the screen will briefly slow down, different from the usual damage animation. Using a bomb during this slow-motion period will also nullify the hit.
However, be aware that if you use this feature repeatedly during the same exploration, the slow-motion period will gradually shorten, eventually returning to the normal reaction time.
■New Grimoires
In the Prologue version, there were three types of Grimoires, but in the full version, many more Grimoires will be added.
Besides the two Grimoires for new characters that were previously introduced, there are also many Grimoires that can be unlocked by meeting certain conditions.
This time, we will introduce three of the Grimoires that can be unlocked by meeting these conditions.
【Sparkler】
This Grimoire rapidly fires low-power magic projectiles.
While its attack power is low, it has the fastest firing speed among all Grimoires.
【Kamaitachi】
This Grimoire launches wide-range slashing attacks.
The slashes gradually slow down and disappear when they come to a stop.
【FairyArrow】
This Grimoire fires magic arrows that fly straight without wavering.
Unlike the Spirit Arrow, this Grimoire stays in place while you hold down the shot button.
■New Side Books
In the full version, new side books that were not present in the Prologue version have been added.
Here, we will introduce a few of them.
Some side books are quite user-friendly, while others have unique quirks. Try out various combinations to find the best ones for you.
【RightBullet】
When you fire a shot, it also releases a projectile that flies to the right.
【LastStruggleSpell】
When a projectile naturally disappears, it scatters additional projectiles from that point.
【PileSpell】
Projectiles increased by the side book's effect gather at a single point.
【BowlingSpell】
Increases power significantly but causes projectiles to fall into holes.
That concludes Vol.4.
There are many more new Grimoires and new side books that we are eager to introduce, but revealing everything would take away from the fun of discovery during gameplay. So, we'll stop here for now.
Next time, we hope to make a major announcement!
