Patch 1.1.0 is out with some new features!
The first is the perk system. When you play a game you can select perks. You start with one slot and a few perk options but can unlock more by spending perk points, which you get every time you level up. Every mage has a few unique perks but most of them are available regardless of who you are currently playing.
Perks will allow you to try out powerful new gameplans! You will probably need them for the new Ascended difficulty mode which makes winning much harder and makes each tier 4 peril harder then the last to ensure your always feeling the pressure in the late game. If that isn't enough check out the challenge perks, which make the game harder instead of easier in exchange for bonus XP.
