🔒 Security
- Patched a Unity engine vulnerability (CVE-2025-59489) — update as soon as it's available.
🌐 Reconnecting & Disconnects
- You no longer get stuck when your connection drops. The game now automatically attempts to reconnect you if your connection is unexpectedly lost, instead of leaving your character frozen and uncontrollable for the rest of the run.
- Reconnecting drops you straight back into the action. No more getting stuck on the lobby screen after rejoining — you're taken directly back into the level you were already in.
- You (and everyone else) respawn where you actually were, not back at a default starting spot, when rejoining a game in progress.
- Fixed players randomly getting disconnected and stuck with no control in the first place — especially painful in Hard Mode, where one dropped player could end the run for the whole team.
🌐 Multiplayer & Sync
- Fixed enemies sometimes not appearing at all for a player from the very start of a level.
- Fixed enemies not reacting properly for non-host players in levels with lots of enemies active at once.
- Fixed some players failing to appear when a level starts.
- Fixed occasional movement stutter/snapping when moving your character in multiplayer.
- Fixed multiplayer occasionally dropping sync between players.
- Fixed usernames with accents, non-English characters, or emoji showing up as garbled text.
- Fixed a rare crash related to enemy spawning, plus a rare general multiplayer crash and a minor memory leak.
🖥️ UI & Menus
- Fixed the lobby screen sometimes showing the wrong player's name/status in the host's slot when someone joined.
- Fixed the "ready for next level" screen sometimes showing the wrong ready status next to a player's name.
- Fixed the Join button not visually showing as disabled when Steam isn't available.
- Fixed the second enemy timer not responding to the "show timers" setting.
