The Decayed Update
This update shakes up gameplay with Decay, a brutal new zombie wave that forces you to rethink your strategy. We've also added a brand-new movement ability, Air Dash, giving you more mobility in combat. The Marathon perk is gone—stamina is no longer a concern, so you can sprint endlessly. A fresh perk, Kinetic Recovery, takes marathons place, it rewards movement with faster healing.
New Wave: Decayed
The nasty just got even nastier. In "Decayed" waves, zombies will spawn decayed, with missing arms, and sometimes, even without a head, yet they’ll keep coming for you like nothing happened. They don’t need eyes to hunt you down, so stay sharp, switch up your strategies because these relentless husks won’t go down easily.
New Movement Ability: Air Dash
- You can now dash whilst in the air, this is bound to the jump key by default. Just hit the air dash button whilst in the air to dash.
REMOVED: Marathon
- Marathon has been removed from the game, you no longer have stamina and can sprint forever.
NEW PERK: Kinetic Recovery
- While moving, the time until you begin healing is reduced. (You must move around, you can't stand in the same place and move left to right).
Vengeance
- Vengeance now specifically rebounds taken damage back to the attacking zombie's head... if they have one that is...
Weapons
- The Winchester now does less headshot damage and more body damage
New Achievements
- It’s Just a Flesh Wound: Survive a wave of decayed Nasty Zombies.
- No Brainer: Reach wave 50 with the "Permanent Decay" modifier active.
