Hello.
The December 2024 issue of “Waku Waku Games News”, which provides the latest information on “Golden Warden”, was released at the end of last year. The game is almost complete, and we will let you know when the release date is decided.
We will also be releasing an original soundtrack to accompany the game as DLC.
It consists of all 13 tracks from the game, composed by rotteruo. If you like the game, please check it out!

We will also be sending you the latest screenshots from the development build!
The rules of the game are simple. You just need to choose the right action for the number on the dice and the card you draw. The number on the dice allows you to move forward, and the card shows you the action you can perform when you stop on that square. You can choose from a variety of attack cards, including swords, magic, bows, bombs, and blunderbusses, and move forward through the dungeon, which is full of traps that change each time you play.
There are also shops run by mysterious creatures (?) inside the dungeon. You can buy and sell items to strengthen your weapons and armor and give you an advantage in battle. You can only hold a limited number of items, and as is the rule of roguelike games, if you die, everything disappears.
↑Unique bosses also await you in the dungeons. They each have different attack methods, and they stand in your way as a source of player frustration. Be careful and think about the terrain effects!
↑There are various terrain effects in the dungeon. Sticky floors will immobilize you and cause damage. Magma-like floors cause burns and deal damage for multiple turns. It becomes a game of reading the dice and map composition. It is essential to keep a good balance of cards in your hand without using cards that are too one-sided.
We want to release Golden Warden before the start of the new school year, so we are currently making final adjustments for release. This game is also excellent with the Steam Deck, so please look forward to it, rogue-like fans and PvE-type card battle fans. :)
