1.16.3 has been launched!
This build features an all new redesigned magazine with a whole bunch of new articles. A few things in it are not complete, such as the Public Polling, Letters to the Editor, and the End of the Year Awards formatting. We'll knock those three out as soon as we get all that we need for them.
This build also includes a Russian translation. It is partially complete and some texts have issues fitting inside the GUI. If you use the translated file, PLEASE report any crashing bugs to us! If all goes well we will open up our translation system to the community so that we can get other languages into the game! :)
There was also a number of minor bug fixes and balancing in this build. The most notable would be fixes to mouse lag issues. We found that the glow compositors is what was causing the GUI to lag at higher resolutions. As such I have disabled the glow compositors. You can re-enable them in the Settings windows from the main menu.
As of right now only the hitboxes will highlight. Which is ugly. This is only temporary. We will replace these hitbox with much better defined shapes in a hot patch sometime this week.
So what about 1.16.4? The coming up build will mainly focus on your feedback and suggestions on the contracting system. There is a whole bunch of little things we need to improve in this system before we can continue with anything else. Of course, I'll take care of major and easy bugs as they popup.
