Hey Guardians!
The updated Ocean Keeper roadmap is here to provide a clear perspective on our development path since Early Access. For a long time, our roadmap lacked precise milestones, leaving many of you wondering about the future of the game. Now, we’ve outlined our journey and the critical steps we're taking toward a full release.
From Visual Overhauls, Enemy Updates, Story Implementation, Sound Improvements, and UI Enhancements to a New Trailer, each phase represents countless hours of work and refinement. Our ultimate goal? A polished and comprehensive release set for Spring 2025.
Right now, the team is deeply focused on polishing Ocean Keeper’s core mechanics and enhancing various aspects of the gameplay experience. We’re introducing key characters, dialogues, lore entries, journals, and more. This work aims to build a cohesive world that feels alive and engaging.
Additionally, final boss encounters and other significant gameplay elements are being implemented to bring a satisfying conclusion to the Ocean Keeper experience.
Testing continues with both our QA team and community members in Discord, ensuring the final release is as smooth as possible. While we are not ready to confirm a precise release date, the possibility of launching by the end of this month is on the table.
Below, you'll find a short gameplay clip showcasing some of the latest improvements. This footage is spoiler-free, providing a glimpse of the updated visuals, UI, and general gameplay atmosphere. More in-depth trailers and teasers will follow soon.
Early Access has been a long journey for us. This is our first experience developing a game of this scale. We experimented, added, and removed mechanics along the way, but our dedication to Ocean Keeper has never wavered. We truly hope you’ll enjoy the final result.
