Complete character model overhaul for every character:
The Mother, The Father, The Alchemist, Alana, Arthur, The Grandmother, The Grandfather, Frankie.
Characters now have a vibrant new range of animations including many set-piece animations for climactic moments.
Special shoutout to Arthur who is now no longer permanently T-posing, instead replacing the sparring square barrels to become your new sparring partner! (Although he did become an amputee in the process)
The Player’s character model is now no longer a blue guy who can’t quite hold a sword, instead he is a fully animated and clothed human being who is not too shabby with the sword. (especially after some time to practice)
The player is now also fully voice-acted, and hovering over speech wheel options will play his voice. Other characters have also had some extra dialogue added here and there.
The Wildlife of Red Rampant has bloomed after the new additions of Foxes, Rabbits, Chickens, Sheep, Crows and Deer, in addition to the improvements to the already present Wolves and Lions.
Magical Woodland Wisps fly around at night! Chase them down to hear the cryptic oddities they have to say.
Major improvements to the look of the houses, the clearing in the forest, the campfire, and other minor changes. Additionally, improvements have been made to the lighting both indoor and outdoor.
Secret Signs are scattered around the map with messages from members of the development team. Find them all to unlock one of the 20 brand new Steam Achievements!
The Notebook now actually works, showcasing Alana’s drawing, your chosen name, and more importantly, the Spiderweb from Bruce’s famous fable. This acts as your branching plotline progress tracker.
A new Bagpipes Soundtrack has been added to the game. Other misc music and audio improvements have been made including ambient sound effects.
Tool tips and central cursor have been added to the UI to avoid confusion and be more inclusive to those sensitive to motion sickness.
Occasional Strong Language Toggle added to the Main Menu for those wanting to avoid the 2 instances of choice words within the game.
KNOWN ISSUE: If you receive the notebook for the first time while the sword is out, you’re soft locked. We will fix this as soon as we can!
