House Builder 2 – New Update Announcement
Hello Builders!
Today we want to share something we’ve been working on for quite a while — a major gameplay progression update for House Builder 2!
Our goal is to make your journey feel more rewarding, immersive and personal. We want you to start small, build your way up, improve your equipment and slowly create your own construction empire.
Here’s what we’re currently working on:
Level System & Perks
We’re introducing a full progression system with experience levels and unlockable perks.
By completing jobs and progressing through the game, you’ll earn XP and unlock new abilities that improve core gameplay mechanics or open access to new content.
Some examples include:
Faster building and demolition
Better resource handling
Reduced stamina/tool usage
New gameplay options and unlocks
Improved vehicle and workshop management
We want progression to feel meaningful and give players more long-term goals while playing.
Vehicle Progression
You won’t start as a construction tycoon anymore.
The idea is simple:
You begin with a cheap old car barely holding together. As you earn money, you’ll be able to buy better vehicles, repair them, customize them and improve their performance.
Current progression idea:
Old rusty starter car
Pickup truck restoration project
Large delivery/construction van
More vehicles planned for the future
Vehicles won’t just be cosmetic — they’ll become part of your progression and gameplay experience.
Buy & Upgrade Your Own Base
Another big feature we’re planning is a player-owned base system.
You’ll be able to purchase your own property and gradually expand it into a proper construction headquarters.
Your base will allow you to:
Store vehicles
Keep tools and materials
Upgrade workshop areas
Unlock new functionality
Expand and customize different sections
We want your base to feel like your home and long-term progression hub.
Still Work in Progress
Please remember that everything shown here is still heavily work in progress and may change during development.
We’ll be sharing more screenshots, previews and gameplay details as development continues.
Let us know what you think about these ideas and what features you’d love to see in the future!
Thank you for supporting House Builder 2 ❤️
