It's been a while, but it's here! After a lot of work, the Monk is finally released! With his special Stance mechanic, his stances all have entrance, exit, and passive effects, which allow him to do a great many things when combined or by themselves. He is also adept at using prayer beads, purifying salt, and to a lesser extent, sake.
Numerous smaller gameplay tweaks have been made as well.
Gameplay:
-The monk is finally here! He has a unique stance mechanic, and quite a few quirks, such as starting with 2 perk points and having buffed prayer beads. There's a lot of stance combinations and synergies to try out, and he can be built in many different ways.
Other:
-You cannot be stunned for two turns in a row. The stun value will persist, however, so you can still get stunned again if the stun value is large, and you will still be vulnerable even if you can act.
-Changed how spirit poison works for enemies. It now gives them a 40+spoison*3% chance to fail any non-cure ability.
-Enemies inflicted with berserk now cannot deal any damage type except poison and physical while attacking.
-Curing blind now updates your vision radius properly that turn.
-Adjusted the formula for block while unarmed.
-Increased the fatigue costs of ninpo somewhat.
-Added a new weapon, Jumonji spear. This polearm can only be properly wielded by a monk.
-Adjusted how much sake you get from refilling a jug at a barrel event.
-Added art for the demon bell and barrel events.
QOL:
-Updated the help docs.
Bugfixes:
-Fixed an issue with the Ronin's Spirit Cohesion potentially not working.
-Fixed a bug where charm stopped you from casting any spell.
-Fixed a bug where purifying salt did much more damage than intended.
