Welcome to Drill Core!
So, you're the new recruit, huh? Alright, let me brief you before you start the playtest.
At Drill Core, you'll be leading your team on some pretty dangerous missions to drill to the core of planets. Your main tasks? Well, you’ll be managing workers, extracting minerals, researching advanced technologies, and fending off those pesky nightly alien attacks.
As you dig deeper, you’ll have to make some tough decisions. You'll need to carefully allocate your resources, balancing the urgency of mining with the need to protect your team. Remember, every choice you make will impact the success of your mission and the fate of the planet. No big deal, right?
So, what's it gonna be? Will you push for maximum efficiency and risk your workers' safety, or will you focus on building up defenses to make sure everyone survives the night?
Job duties include:
- Manage a team of miners, carriers and guards.
- Place and upgrade turrets to fend off nightly alien attacks.
- Mine valuable minerals during each run.
- Balance upgrades between equipment, defenses, and drilling.
- Collect Green Ore to unlock new tech, buildings, and abilities.
- Be ready to adapt! Each mission is different with random restrictions and technologies you’ll have at your disposal.
