Hello, everyone, as November comes to a close, we are back with a dev log for the first time in a while.
A few weeks ago, we had a meaningful time engaging directly with you through an AMA on Discord.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated.
Thanks to your enthusiastic participation, the dev team gained a lot of energy,
which we'll use to accelerate development even further.
In this DEV LOG, we would like to share a few more stories that we couldn't fully cover during the AMA session.
1. AMA Recap
The live AMA (Ask Me Anything) event took place on November 11th at 11:00 AM KST.
It was a schedule set hard to forget with all the '11's repeating itself.

We assume a lot of you would have already checked on the main contents of our previous AMA via the recap post earlier. So we'd like to add some more to it in today's DEV LOG.
1. Regarding Development Progress and Direction Progress:
Development seems to be about halfway done. The pace is gradually picking up. The entire development team is working harder for the many people waiting for our game.
Direction: As previously mentioned, the main story will be provided as single-player content, allowing for a deeper immersion in VDF's narrative.
We plan to present a reinterpretation of the story in the unique style of VDF in a more single-player focused environment.
For example: Why was the Pontiff's Court relic found deep within the Frozen Valley? What events led Ingkells to rebel?
We aim to delve deeply into these aspects and present new connections.
Multiplayer: This is planned to be provided as separate content, similar to the 'Special Mission' during the Alpha Test.
Some players may have been disappointed that they couldn't form parties with friends during the Alpha Test.
In future gameplay experiences you will be able to form parties with friends and set off for battle together.
However, this does not mean we will strengthen multiplayer - we're designing it so that those who prefer to play alone can still do so.
2. Controls
We mentioned in our AMA that we do not plan to support a dedicated Keyboard only mode. But Instead, we're developing the feel and usability of both the controller and the keyboard and mouse combinations separately to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience, regardless of which control method you use. Both features are tested by different developers to ensure both methods will be equally great in quality.
3. Other Stories
To be honest, we were 'slightly' worried that not many would be interested in our AMA, leading to a somewhat sad situation where there were no questions left before the scheduled 60 minutes were up. Which was why we had to brainstorm up some light topics to share with all of you, just in case. It turned out we did not have to use these, thanks to everyone's enthusiastic participation. We were able to cover more questions than we expected. So today we would like to reveal some of the small topics we prepared beforehand.
Unexpected bugs during development
There was a small issue during our loading process which implanted Lann's face over Fiona's body. This was actually something that also happened back in the OG, making it even more shocking - the very same bug followed us here!
What we learned from experiencing the Alpha Test
We felt that there are still many areas where we can, and should, improve. While action can be a matter of personal taste, we believe it is also an aspect where everyone can enjoy when it is made fundamentally well. Unfortunately our alpha build did not make it to that level yet. In future development we promise to do our best to fill in the missing parts.
Dev Team's Go-To menu
Our team has a tradition where the Director gathers team members in groups of 6 for a meal regularly. So everytime this happens, we ask everyone what they would like to eat. And in most cases, the most preferred choice was always Chinese cuisine. Our Director insists he's eaten enough of Chinese food for a while. Note: You can check all the stories from the day of the AMA on the official Discord!
2. About Rocheste
(Image - Concept Art of Rocheste currently in progress)
We'd also like to share few more details regarding the Rocheste region, which was previously revealed through Director @dio_ell's Twitter account.
Rocheste is a massive city, bigger than Colhen, and is home to the headquarters of the Royal Army Knights - Along with Gwynn and Ellis.
With the sea to the East and Colhen located to the North, it is a region that has not suffered invasions from the Fomors due to its geographical advantages.
It is also where you will have to visit during our gameplay.
Do you remember 'Dolores', who we revealed previously?
You will also be able to meet her at the inn in Rocheste.
While Rocheste might seem like a thriving, charming city, it also has its dark sides hidden in the shadows.
You will be able to check what's hidden through future gameplay.
That wraps up our November Dev Log.
We will see you again with our next note.
Thank you,
